Youth Endurance Training & Strength Conditioning Sydney

Running, cycling, swimming, triathlon. Led by an Ironman All World Athlete with a Masters in Strength & Conditioning. Built around the specific demands of endurance training for developing athletes — including the load management most youth programs get catastrophically wrong.

Built for young endurance athletes.

Young runners, cyclists, swimmers, and triathletes need more than adult training copied smaller. Growing bodies under high aerobic load face specific risks — stress fractures, chronic fatigue, growth plate injuries, and energy availability issues that can derail careers. A genuinely evidence-based endurance program builds capacity while protecting the long game.

01
Strength for Endurance Athletes

Young endurance athletes are routinely under-strengthed. Progressive resistance training improves running economy, reduces injury risk, and builds the physical foundation that long-term development depends on — without compromising aerobic work.

02
Load Management & Growth-Aware Programming

Stress fractures, bone stress injuries, and growth-plate problems are the biggest injury burdens in young endurance athletes. Load monitoring and growth-aware programming are built into every program we deliver — so your young athlete trains hard without breaking.

03
Running Mechanics & Movement Efficiency

Running mechanics affect both performance and injury risk. Gait assessment, movement screening, and targeted drill work to improve the efficiency of how your young athlete moves — especially important as their body changes through development.

04
Multi-Discipline Integration (Triathlon)

Young triathletes balance three disciplines plus growth plus school life. We work with athletes and coaches to structure strength and conditioning that supports — not competes with — their swim, bike, and run training.

DAVE
Sports Chiro · Masters in S&C · Ironman AWA

Dave Lambropoulos combines elite-level endurance racing experience — Ironman All World Athlete status — with a Masters in Strength & Conditioning and a Sports Chiropractic background. He's Head of Athlete Performance at SportsFit and the founder of TriApex Coaching, one of Sydney's dedicated endurance coaching programs.

For young endurance athletes, that combination is rare. Someone who actually trains and races at elite age-group level, understands endurance programming at an advanced level, and has the clinical background to manage load and injury risk through the critical developmental years.

Assessment. Program. Progress.

Every young endurance athlete starts with a comprehensive physical assessment — and a conversation about their current training load and sport-specific goals.

01
Physical Profile Assessment
Movement screening, strength profiling, gait assessment (for runners), and load history review. We establish where your young athlete sits physically and what risks their current training creates.
02
Sport-Specific Programming
Strength and conditioning programming that supports their swim/bike/run training rather than competes with it. Load-aware, growth-aware, and periodised around their key race calendar.
03
Re-Testing & Season Monitoring
Ongoing strength tracking, gait re-assessment where relevant, and regular check-ins on training load. Preventative adjustments made before issues become injuries.
