BASKETBALL
DEVELOPMENT
Led by practitioners with NBA Academy experience and Premier-level S&C credentials. The vertical jump, agility, and repeat-sprint work that actually translates to on-court impact — available across both Five Dock and Gladesville.
Built for the demands of basketball.
Basketball is vertical, reactive, and relentless. Young players need specific development across jumping, landing, change of direction, and repeat-sprint ability — plus targeted injury prevention for the knee and ankle demands that the game places on developing bodies.
01
Vertical Power & Jump Training
Rebound, block, and finish above the rim. Progressive plyometric programming, single-leg and double-leg jump development, and force-velocity profiling — the foundation of on-court vertical impact.
02
Reactive Agility & Defensive Footwork
Basketball defense is built on lateral quickness, deceleration, and reactive change of direction. Specific drills that reflect how the game is played — not generic ladder work that doesn’t transfer.
03
Ankle & Knee Injury Prevention
Ankle sprains and knee injuries are the biggest injury burdens in basketball. Ankle stability work, landing mechanics training, and single-leg neuromuscular control — preventative programming built into every session.
04
Repeat Sprint & Game Conditioning
Basketball is repeated sprints with short recovery. Conditioning programming that reflects the actual work-to-rest ratios of game play — not steady-state running that doesn’t match what the sport demands.
